Support for House Health Bill

Yesterday, the Alliance for Retired Americans distributed a letter in support of the House Health Bill to all House members.

'The Alliance for Retired Americans, on behalf of its nearly four million members throughout the nation, supports the Affordable Health Care for America Act, H.R. 3962. We urge its prompt passage by the House of Representatives.'

The Alliance considers the health bill a prescription for success because it addresses crucial health insurance issues for America's seniors including:

Closing the Medicare donut hole
Lowering Rx drug costs
Making preventative services more affordable
Helping prepare for long term care costs
Significantly lowers costs for struggling seniors
