Former U.S. Sen. Alan Simpson sat down with the CNBC television network last week to discuss his post as co-chair of the President’s Fiscal Commission on the national debt. Throughout the conversation, he leveled several attacks against seniors and senior advocacy organizations, accusing them of not caring “a whit about their grandchildren…not a whit.”
When asked about cuts he would recommend to the President and Congress, he replied, “We are going to stick to the big three,” meaning, Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Watch the interview below.
Alliance President Barbara Easterling said, "Alan Simpson’s prior record in the Senate has proven his determination to cut Medicare and Social Security. His appointment has caused widespread alarm among seniors, veterans, and disabled Americans, who increasingly rely on these programs during the economic downturn.”

I think with the experience of Alan simpson, the senate should be able to cut down the promised costs in health care field.

Former Senator Allan Simpson probably haven't realized that it is the flaws in the system, which gives way to fraud, that bleeds these 3 agencies of government.

According to Simpson, they found stuff in the Defense Department that there is a DOD health system. It's separate for Veterans Administration, it's separate from Obamacare. And it affects 2.2 million military retirees.
Their premium is $460 a year and no co-pay and includes their dependents and the cost to the U.S. is $53 billion a year.
Now that is certainly worth looking into.
